Batter Up for Milestones! Astros' 10,000th Game & Daikin Park's Silver Jubilee!
Last month was a real cause for celebration as our amazing Houston Astros swung into their 10,000th game as a Major League franchise! The energy was buzzing at the ballpark on Sunday, April 20th, as they hosted the San Diego Padres. What an incredible journey it's been, marked by a spirited record of 5019 wins, 4976 hard-fought losses, and just 5 ties! And let's give a huge cheer for the legendary players who've taken the field the most for our beloved team: the one and only Craig Biggio with a whopping 2850 games, the incredible Jeff Bagwell with 2150, the fantastic Jose Cruz with 1870, and our current superstar Jose Altuve with 1847!
And the good news keeps on coming! Our wonderful ballpark, now known as Daikin Park, is also bursting with joy as it celebrates its fantastic 25th anniversary this season! Here's to many more exciting games and cherished memories for both our team and our home field!
