Dynamo FC falls to Minnesota United FC 1-2

Minnesota came to town to fade this Houston heat. Ha we know how that goes. This Houston heat is "unfadeable".

With Herrera wearing the C on his shoulder, this team has a different kind of energy. There is an urgency to push forward, and get shots to the goal. There is a different aggressiveness and vision. There were so many near misses by the Dynamo early on in the first 45 minutes into this game and the touches on the Dynamo defensive side of the pitch by Minnesota were far and few in between. Unfortunately, the one in the 45th minute would cost the Dynamo.

Minnesota took the lead into the half. The Dynamo were forced to show some resolve. Out the gate they pushed forward and forced a corner kick. The Dynamo struggles would prove to be a lack of execution definitely not a lack of effort. But the lack of defense and execution still leads to the Dynamo falling to Minnesota, 1-2

Time and time again we see this defense fail the Dynamo. That has to be the focus of this team and front office going forward. The goals are going to come. It's a product of the pressure this team applies going forward. It seems as every chance a team gets at a shot on goal, they score. I'm not sure if it's scheme, skill, or will. It has to be unacceptable though. These fans support in a championship manner. They deserve a team with a shot at a championship.
