(Sugarland, TX) The Space Cowboys lost Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s game by a combined score of 14-1. Sugar Land has now lost five of their last six games and continues to struggle with their new-look roster.
Since May 5, 2025, César Salazar, Logan VanWey, Colton Gordon, Brandon Walter, Forrest Whitley, Shay Whitcomb Jr, Luis Guillorme, Cooper Hummel, Jason Alexander and Nick Hernandez have all spent time with the Astros or are still currently called up.
The Space Cowboys have been dealing with new rosters the entire season, but this is not a new issue for the team. Just last season, the Space Cowboys managed to win the Triple-A National Championship despite having several players called up throughout the season.
Sugar Land is 37-33 on the season and are in second place in the Pacific Coast League East Division. Sugar Land looks to get back on track tonight at 5:05 p.m. as they take on the first-place Las Vegas Aviators in a double-header at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas.
