Take Over the Trap: The Texans’ Arrival in Foxborough
The Texans have done it again. “Walk in yo trap and take over yo trap” type Sh@!. A close nit spanking was put on the Steelers, and now its the clam chowder lovers turn to meet the Dirty Third Herd. No fucks given, no excuses accepted, and no games played about the way the game is to be played on the Texans side. No Letterman jackets this go around. This is a business trip. The Texans are about to adjust the tie on these Patriots like the Christian Kirk catch celebration.
The NFL world has forgot about CJ Stroud and he is going to remind us all Captain Himothy resides in Houston Texas. National coverage talks like there has been some huge drop off in CJs' abilities to play elite QB. Y’all will learn this Sunday. He has been given no credit for his success because it doesn't look like some of your favorites that came before him. Just stay on that side please. They are talking up Drake Maye like he was shot out of Tom Bradys' nut sack. We see the numbers though and we know CJ isn’t coming to Foxboro to do it on his own. He is going to have his people with him.
What people? That generational unit of certified hunters. This defense doesn't care where they play, who they play, or what the team has accomplished where they must play. Your team is going to have to line up and get they azz hit repeatedly, and over. And when the dust settles the Texans will look up and accept the results. This defense and this team believe their only opposition is themselves.
They believe in one another. They believe in their process they have established. They also believe in the leaders of their team. Starting with the head coach. He requires your best every day. He also respects the work that his players put in. The culture Demeco has created is priceless. The contribution that culture has made to the success of this team cannot be quantified. It’s there though and you hear it every time you talk to a player. It’s always about the team, their brother, and the readiness to put in more work. This team now sits in the position to go places it has never been before and that could sound overwhelming. The thing is being in this position has been the expectation all season long. So, no one of this team is surprised by their current position. Nope, it's more of the Dirty Third Herd is knocking at your door hoe type! Come out and play type of feeling around the Texans.
I fully expect the Patriots to be the next team to experience the expectations of the Houston Texans. I can say on good authority the Texans do not expect to lose. See you Sunday afternoon chowder lovers. GO TEXANS #DIRTYTHIRDHERD
