Sugar Land Space Cowboys pitcher Blair Henley has been named the Pacific Coast League's Pitcher of the Week for his performance between May 21st and 26th, Minor League Baseball announced on Tuesday.

Henley dominated on Sunday against Round Rock, pitching six scoreless innings. After a hit batter in the first inning, he retired 12 batters in a row. He walked two and hit another batter in the first six innings but didn't allow a hit. He returned for the seventh but gave up his only hit, a single, before ending his night.

The 27-year-old right-hander struck out five and walked just two on 90 pitches, tying his career-high for innings pitched. This is Henley's third Pitcher of the Week award; he won the Texas League award twice in 2023. It's also the 10th time a Space Cowboys pitcher has earned this honor in franchise history.

Following a series win, Sugar Land travels to Las Vegas to face the Aviators in a six-game series starting Tuesday night. RHP AJ Blubaugh (3-0, 3.16) will pitch for Sugar Land. Oakland A's starter Luis Medina (0-0, 19.29) is scheduled for a rehab assignment with Las Vegas. The game starts at 9:05 pm CT and can be heard on ESPN 92.5 FM or streamed online or on MiLB.TV, MLB.TV, or Bally Live.
