Texans Fire VP of Communications, Amy Palcic

The Houston Texans have fired vice president of communications Amy Palcic, telling her she no longer was "a cultural fit," sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Palcic, who was promoted from director of corporate communications, was the only woman in the NFL in charge of a communications department.

In 2016, she replaced Kevin Cooper, in which he resigned to proceed to be  senior director of communications for the Houston Super Bowl Committee. She won a Woman in Sports and Entertainment Woman of Inspiration award last year.

As it stands, the rest of the communications department are still apart of the team. After the release of Bill OBrien, things seem to be on edge over at NRG. As you may know, there were rumors of JJ Watt being traded earlier this month.

We will see what happens next as the Texans continue to restructure the team.
