KiKi Struna underwent successful surgery



HOUSTON (Friday, March 13, 2020) – Houston Dynamo defender Aljaž "Kiki" Struna underwent successful arthroscopic surgery at the Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Texas Medical Center today on his left knee. 

“This unexpected break in play gives us and Kiki the opportunity get this minor issue taken care of,” said Dynamo Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Jordan. “We wanted to act quickly to give him ample recovery time to prepare for the remainder of the season.”
The defender is expected to make a full recovery and return to training following his rehabilitation.  

Struna has started and played 90 minutes in Houston’s first two matches of the 2020 MLS regular season. The 29-year-old earned MLS Team of the Week, presented by Audi, honors after his season debut in Houston’s 1-1 draw with the LA Galaxy on Feb. 29 at BBVA Stadium.
