The Clock Keeps Ticking

Two down, one game and a dress rehearsal to go!

As we draw closer to regular season, tonight showed us what the preseason is all about striking early in the game. Get out of healthy. Our Texans starting CB Kevin Johnson left the game early due to a concussion.

The latest update stated he was at the hospital doing well. SFL and the fans are wishing him a speedy recovery. The play itself looked season ending. He will now be placed in the NFL's concussion protocol with hopes to be ready for the start of the season.

The Texans were able to pull the game out in the fashion it takes. That with making plays late in games, I for one believe the Webb/ Weeden competition should be closer then most think. It's on to the next one. The one we have been taught to take as a real preview of what we are working with as a team. The one where we can accept Watt, Mercilus, Clowney, Mathieu, and Octo-Hop playing as rational. We will discuss the lowering the helmet rule later.

Bring on the Rams!
