LOVB Sets the Stage: Louisville and Los Angeles to Host 2026 Pro Playoffs and Championship
The pinnacle of professional volleyball is heading to two of the sport's biggest hubs. League One Volleyball (LOVB) has officially announced that Louisville, Kentucky, and the Los Angeles area will serve as the host cities for the 2026 Pro Playoffs and Championship.
As the first professional league built from the club level up, LOVB continues to bridge the gap between youth development and elite professional play. With a roster boasting 23 collective Olympic medals, the league is firmly established as one of the top three professional volleyball circuits on the planet.
The Road to the Title: 2026 Postseason Schedule
The postseason kicks off in April, featuring the top four teams from the regular season competing in a high-stakes semifinal series.
| Event | Dates | Location | Venue |
| LOVB Pro Playoffs | April 10 - 12 | Louisville, KY | Freedom Hall |
| LOVB Championship | April 16 & 18 | Los Angeles, CA | TBA |
1. The Playoffs: Louisville Heartbeat
The action begins at Freedom Hall in Louisville. This selection is intentional: the playoffs will run concurrently with the JVA World Challenge, one of the largest junior tournaments in the country. By aligning the pro playoffs with a marquee youth event, LOVB reinforces its "club-to-pro" pipeline, allowing the next generation of stars to see their idols in action.
2. The Championship: LA’s Olympic Preview
The season culminates in Southern California. The timing couldn't be better—with Los Angeles hosting several major sporting events that weekend, the LOVB Championship is set to capture the national spotlight.
The move also serves as a homecoming for the league’s newest expansion team, LOVB Los Angeles, and acts as a definitive countdown to the LA28 Olympic Games. Many of the athletes competing in this championship are expected to represent their nations on that very same soil in two years.
A Global Powerhouse
LOVB Pro’s roster is a testament to the league's rapid growth and international respect. The talent pool is deep and diverse:
- International Reach: Athletes represent 21 different countries.
- Elite Experience: 75% of the league has national team experience.
- Olympic Pedigree: One in every five players is an Olympian.
Season Two saw a massive influx of talent, including 19 new athletes and nine standout collegiate stars, proving that the pathway from the NCAA to the pro ranks is stronger than ever.
