Texas A&M are Texas Bowl Champs




For Immediate Release

After trailing in the first half 7-14 the Texas A&M Fightin' Aggies defeat the Oklahoma State Cowboys 21-24 in front of a crowd of 68,415 at NRG Stadium in Houston.

 A&M QB Kellen Mond was named the 2019 Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl MVP with a career high 117 rushing yards, including a 67 yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma State's star RB Chuba Hubbard totaled 19 carries for 158 yards gained on the night, officially surpassing 2,000 rushing yards for the season. He joins Barry Sanders as the only other Oklahoma State player to do so.
