Something Coogin' Off Cullen

Kelvin Sampson left the Houston Rockets for the University of Houston with vision. He put his head down and went to work. Marinating this program in all the ingredients to be a champion.

The blueprint has paid off and this program is in line for sustained excellence. Credit has to be given to the players who have bought in and executed. If you have watched this team over the past few years, their success is no surprise. You've seen Corey Davis Jr., Breaon Brady, and Galen Robinson Jr. play with the skill level, energy, and fearlessness of any player in the country.

You know Armoni Brooks is a heartless sniper with a smile. And the key factors to the continuance to their success are the under classmen not mentioned that they have created a culture for. Players like Jarreau, Hinton, and Alley are poised and primetime ready because of this culture. Many outside spectators expected a fall off with the departure of Rob Gray.

It was merely a passing of the torch. ESPN College Gameday is on campus today. The hype machine is at an all time high. In the U of H locker room though, it's just another day of putting in the work. So on behalf of Cougar Nation. Welcome to the Big Show on 3422 Cullen Blvd.
