Division Showdown: Titan Blowout

To be PERFECTLY honest, the Tennessee Titans needed a win against the Jaguars, a division-rival who are currently in last-place.

The Titans automatically went in on the Jags with a Henry touchdown on their first drive. They immediately set the tone Thursday night. From there, it was the Henry and Co. show which ultimately led to a division rival blowout in a 30-9 win.

Derrick Henry showed the world last night on just how explosive and dominant he can be. From the hand off that gave the Titans a two score lead, Henry joined Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett as the only player to put up a 99-yard touchdown run in NFL history.

The HUMILIATING stiff he gave A.J Bouve will forever be on replay in highlight reels and game tapes, when he blasted from the 1 yard line and took it to the house. Twitter went NUTS. I expect to see some pretty funny and interesting memes popping up in the sports world pretty soon.  Henry finished the game with 238 yards and four touchdowns on 17 attempts

With the safety being committed but the Titans, that gave the Jags their first set of points in the half.  Mariota was sacked just one time and hit one time on which was due to calling quick passes. I don’t know, but for Marcus, “The Struggle Continues”. Even though last night his numbers were ok, with 162 yards on 24 attempts, he just continues to struggle with consistency. He seems to keep overthrowing or under throwing passes with his young receivers. With this win(7-6) lets see if this sparks some much needed improvement overall from the Titans to win more games.
