Despite Game 5 WIN, Rockets Lose

Despite the AMAZING win last night at the Toyota center, the Rockets lose Chris Paul.

Late in the Fourth quarter, Paul landed to the hardwood after a jumpshot. After getting up form the floor slowly, he was seen rubbing his hamstring.

Paul will travel with the Rockets to Oakland, California, for Game 6 BUT will not play and will be re-evaluated after the team returns to Houston.

"It's obviously not something we wanted," D'Antoni said before Friday's practice. "I hate it for him above all. He's practically won us the past two games. But it's a great opportunity for other guys, and we have plenty to choose from. We'll be ready."

Paul exited Houston's 98-94 Game 5 win on Thursday in the final minute and received treatment on the sideline prior to closing of the game.
So its safe to say that Eric Gordon will start in Paul's place. He averages about 21.5 points and 3.4 assists in 30 games as a fill-in starter this season. Let's see how the team rotates into their positions to adjust to the Warriors. We all hope Harden will step up for Game 6 in Cali.
